He has also been linked with a move to Barcelona’s arch rivals, Real Madrid.

Man City Will Be Without Goalkeeper Ederson For Liverpool Clash

Manchester City will be without goalkeeper Ederson for their key game against Liverpool on Super Sunday.
The Brazil goalkeeper suffered a muscular problem in the 1-1 draw with Atalanta in the Champions League on Wednesday.
City boss Pep Guardiola, whose side trail leaders Liverpool by six points, has confirmed Claudio Bravo will start at Anfield.
Bravo, who was sent off in Italy in midweek, last started a league game for the club in May 2018.
“Ederson is not able to play on Sunday,” said Guardiola. “How long is he out for? I don’t know.
“We have another top goalkeeper. We won the Carabao Cup and FA Cup thanks to Claudio Bravo. He is an exceptional goalkeeper and has played a lot of games for Chile.
“Why shouldn’t I be confident in my players? I would not like to be a player if my manager doubts me.
“I see him every day in training sessions, how good a player he is. We’re not going to lose because of Claudio.
“He has had a long career at the top, won the Copa America. Respect that guy, he is an incredible, top, top ‘keeper.”
Manchester City have not won at Anfield since 2003 and defeat on Sunday would see them fall nine points behind the Premier League leaders.

‘Arsenal Must Beat Leicester City On Saturday’- Unai Emery

Unai Emery has conceded that Arsenal’s trip to Leicester on Saturday is a must-win game as the Gunners look to make up ground in the race for the top four.
Emery’s side have won just four of their 11 Premier League games this season and lie six points behind third-placed Leicester ahead of their clash at the King Power Stadium, live on Sky Sports.
Arsenal could drop as low as 10th with defeat on Saturday, and Emery admitted: “Yes – we need to win. It’s very important for us tomorrow.
“Our mentality every time is to play fast, be strong and win. Each match we only think to win.
“I was speaking with the players on Tuesday about our next steps to improve. There are two ways.
“One is to play better with the ball, play with more confidence in our style and take more responsibility on the pitch.
“The second is our defensive attitude and to be strong. Getting better defensively is the first challenge for tomorrow.”

‘Liverpool MUST BE Brave Against Man City’- Jurgen Klopp

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has urged his side “to be brave” ahead of their top-of-the table Premier League clash with reigning champions Manchester City on Sunday.
Klopp’s side hold a six-point lead over City after 11 games going into the match at Anfield, live on Sky Sports Premier League, with a chance to move nine points clear of their title rivals heading into the international break.
The Liverpool boss acknowledges the rivalry between the pair is “getting bigger and bigger” following a string of close games between the two sides.
“It’s a big game, two really good teams facing each other at Anfield, under the floodlights,” Klopp said.
“The last three games we played 0-0 at home, then lost 2-1 at the Etihad where we nearly scored a goal and then the last one was a draw in the Community Shield, before we lost the shootout.”
“It will be a good football game – I’m not sure whether it will be just from a coaches and tactical point of view or a spectacle one for supporters.
“But everything is on a plate and no one hides anything, we cannot only be offensive but you have to be brave against Manchester City – even for a point.”

Chelsea FC Boss Frank Lampard Wins Premier League Coach Of The Month Of October Award

The Blues legend has been acknowledged for guiding his side to three successive league wins last month, which saw them rise to fourth
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has been named the Premier League Manager of the Month for October after masterminding wins over Southampton, Newcastle and Burnley.
The Blues have emerged as a major force in English football once again in recent weeks, putting a slow start to the 2019-20 campaign firmly behind them.
Lampard’s men are now fourth in the Premier League after 11 fixtures and boast a six-point lead over fifth-placed rivals Arsenal in the race for the final Champions League spot.
Chelsea have won eight of their last 10 matches across all competitions, with a flawless league run in October key to their recent resurgence.
The Stamford Bridge outfit kicked off the month with an impressive 4-1 triumph at Southampton, before earning a narrow 1-0 home win over Newcastle after the international break.
A trip to Burnley on October 26 was seen as a potential banana skin for the Blues, but a superb Christian Pulisic hat-trick helped wrap up a stunning 4-2 victory at Turf Moor.
Lampard has been rewarded for a perfect four weeks with the Premier League’s coveted manager of the month award, ahead of a crucial clash against Crystal Palace this weekend.
The 41-year-old head coach finished ahead of August and September winner Jurgen Klopp in the final voting, as well as additional nominees Graham Potter, Brendan Rodgers and Dean Smith.
Lampard expressed his delight after winning the accolade on Friday, thanking the rest of his staff for their efforts before recalling his team’s “dominant” display at Burnley.
“Winning an individual award like this, my first one at the club, it is the perfect time to appreciate the close staff who have worked so hard since pre-season and the players, as they are the ones who go out and perform. I am delighted for everybody,” Lampard told Chelsea’s official website.
“I would probably say out of the Premier League games we played in October, the one away against Burnley was the highlight because of the way we were so dominant in our performance and Burnley is a very tough place to go.
“People may have questioned the fact that we are a young team and with the physical nature of the challenge, but we responded very well and played some really good football.
“It was a tight turnaround after a big performance physically for the lads at Ajax and with the travel back. To go up to Burnley at any time is difficult but we managed the game really well.”
Jamie Vardy, meanwhile, picked up the Player of the Month prize after scoring four goals in three appearances for Leicester City, including a hat-trick in the Foxes’ record-breaking 9-0 win over Southampton.

Gernot Rohr Orders Nigeria vs Benin To Be Postponed (See Why)

Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr has pushed for Confederation of Africa Football, CAF, to postpone the 2021 Cup of Nations qualifier between Nigeria and Benin Republic, earlier scheduled for November 13.
Speaking to journalists on Saturday, Rohr accused CAF of not showing enough respect to Nigeria, a three-time AFCON winner.
According to him, it was disrespectful for the continental football body to fix the game between the two West African neighbours only two days after the International window opens.
He said;
“Our game against Benin is on November 13th, which is a Wednesday. The FIFA window opens on Monday. When will our players arrive and prepare for this game? It’s ridiculous. We need to be respected and I have spoken to CAF’s Anthony Baffoe about it.
“I have also spoken to Michel Dussuyer, the Benin coach, as well. We need this date to be changed, so that the teams can arrive and train properly, for this game. Match scheduling must be done properly.”
Nigeria will play two AFCON qualifying matches next month, against Benin Republic and Lesotho.

‘Granit Xhaka Was Wrong To Tell Arsenal Fans To F*** Off’- Unai Emery

Arsenal manager Unai Emery says Granit Xhaka was “wrong” to react angrily and gesture to the fans as he was substituted during his side’s Premier League draw with Crystal Palace.
The Gunners captain was booed as he walked off the pitch at Emirates Stadium, prompting him to cup his ear.
He then took off his shirt, walked past Emery and stormed down the tunnel.
“He’s wrong but we are going to speak inside about that situation,” Emery told BBC Match of the Day.
The Arsenal boss added: “I want to be calm but, really, he was wrong in this action.”
News of the change was first greeted with ironic cheers but they quickly turned to boos as Xhaka took his time to leave the field, sparking an angry reaction from the 27-year-old.
It is not the first time Xhaka has been booed by his own fans this season, with Emery publicly defending the Switzerland international after a game against Aston Villa last month.

‘I Have Been Hurt By Man United’s Bad Results’- Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says he has been “hurt” by Manchester United’s results this season but “does not care” what people have been saying about him.
The Red Devils collected their first Premier League away win of the season by beating Norwich 3-1 at Carrow Road.
Solskjaer’s job as United manager has been under scrutiny following a poor start to the season.
“The one that need to trust me and the ones that matter, they don’t mind,” Solskjaer told BBC Sport.
United were 15th going into the game against the Canaries, just two points above the relegation zone, but climbed up to seventh with their first three points outside Old Trafford
Solskjaer said:
“This had been a good week for us. It started with a decent performance against Liverpool and now two wins away from home. It gives the players confidence and momentum.
“We have missed Anthony, he is a very important player for us, the way we play and today Marcus Rashford was excellent down the sides and in the middle. A great response to missing the penalty, chasing back and scoring.
“The third was a very good goal and a class finish. It is great for Martial to score a goal like that. We could and should have had a few more goals.”
Asked if he has been hurt by the criticism towards him, Solskjaer replied:
“I have been hurt by the results, I don’t know what has been said.
“I do not care about that, anyone can have their opinion and that is none of my business to comment on, I am not hurting because of what someone says about me.”

Paul Pogba Ruled Out Until December

Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, has been ruled out until December.
Pogba has struggled with an ankle injury since August and has featured just five times in the Premier League this season.
United had hoped the France international, would return for United’s Carabao Cup clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.
But Red Devils boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has ruled the player out for at least another month.
“I don’t think we’ll see Paul maybe before December. He’ll be out for a while. He needs time to fully, fully recover, so I don’t think he’ll be back.
“Maybe after the international break – but probably December before you see him.
“I’m not the doctor, but there is an injury there that needs healing. It is his ankle rather than his foot,” Solksjaer said after their 3-1 win at Norwich on Sunday.
